car cutting out

You could try this,a mate of mine tried it.....take the maf off,you should see the wire sensor at the bottom of the maf,just be carefull with it,but he wiped it done with methylated spirits...and it cleaned it said it stopped his car hunting like it did.... :dunno:
 
maf in the classic is a full box unit can it still be done?
 
I know its a full box unit,but if you look in the maf chamber,but you can actually take the maf out and you should be able to see the wire sensor of the maf... :thumbsup:
 
got the spirits today going to give it a go now in a few minutes if not its up north saturday to grab a maf from euro auto salvage :thumbsup:
