Blob steering rack

:facepalm: My steering rack is shot in my blob WRX anyone know where I could pick up a reconditioned one? Any suggestions welcomed.

Well it's feels tight and notchy when I steer, it feels like it gets stuck at a point and takes alot of pressure to turn the wheel off that point. I haven't got near it to take it out. I have had the same trouble with a couple of vans I've had and ended up putting in a new rack. They were leaking this doesn't seem to be. Hope my explanation makes sense.
 
Did you try refresh the fluid ? It doesn?t use power steering fluid it uses Dextron 3 rating atf (automatic transmission fluid) on a Subaru

I haven't, would that be the cause? It's extremely tight like worse than non power steering, really have to wrestle with it to steer.
