Well... I was thinking several times of getting one of these beasts, but I am so happy with Subaru, that I decided to get the B4 STi RS from Gizmo 5. BTW.: What do you think if I convert my Impreza Wagon into a pickup?
The AUdi is a nice drive. I actually had the A4 2.5 TDi quattro back in Germany and was pretty happy. The chiptuning brought her up to 220 ponies and a torque of almost 450 Nm.
Without the 4x4 of the quattro, the power wasn't managable. A friend of mine had the A4 2.5 TDi with the front wheel drive only and when the road was wet, he wasn't able to handle the car smoothly.
The key experience I had on a German Autobahn. I drove behind a RS6 with my M5 (475 ponies) and the ba*tard zoomed away as if I was parking.
I could keep up with him (in the end I had the higher top speed with 325 kmph) but the acceleration of the Audi from 200-240 was much better.
Jesus... I though I wanna have one, but they cost an arm and a leg.
I think even here in Ireland it is pointless to have such a monster. They are not made for Irish roads and the suspension won't last here very long.

Not yet, but I see Gary 5 tomorrow or Sunday and will check the car out.
I am pretty convinced to take the beauty if there no biggies on her. But from what Gary 5 told me and what I saw on the pictures, I will take the B4.

A friend of mine form Galway as an MTM stage 1 RS6 (the previous model) and he said in a straight line it will dance all over a standard M5. He's talking about getting a stage 2 MTM upgrade now to take it over 600bhp 
. He's treated the wife's Q7 to an MTM remap and Milltek full exhaust system although she never noticed until he told her
