Anyone shed some light?

Started the car after work tonight and hear this noise. Open the bonnet and this Starts spinning and stops after a few seconds does the same a second time and then spins for about 5 seconds and stops and repeats the cycle again. Anyone shed any light on what?s going on?

Air con pump cutting in

Pretty normal to hear some noise from the ac pump , nothing to worry about .
Just knock it off , not needed in this weather

Aircon pulley sticking, careful doesn't shred the belt, is your aircon working.
You can pull he wee plug on top to disconnect it.
I had to change mine ac wasnt working. Got full pump from Matty b. But changed over pulley to save disconnecting pump as had got it regassed. If you do this change washers that comes with other pump behind pulley cause they differ in height.
Not big money for second hand one.
Might not be your prob but sounds similar to my issue. 05 blob.

I've seen mycar doing it goin on and off like it has his own mind and for some reason I thought it was normal

I think does kick in and out but if sticking could be the noise

Cheers guys never heard it doing this before in 10 years so I may change it out just to be sure.
