another oil question

guys can some one confirm i have this right:

2.0l petrol
62,000 miles
street car (wont see the track) every day drive

engine oil
MOTUL - 6100 10W40 Synergie Semi Syntheic Engine Oil- 4.5liters or MOTUL - 8100 5W30 Eco-nergy Fully Syntheic Engine Oil - 4.5 Litres
MOTUL - Gear 300 Oil 75W90 - 3.5 Litre ?

what oil do i need for the dif? and how much?

Hey gav,

I just changed all mine in my 99 leggy, I use mobil 15w50 fully syntheic, and Motul 300 gear oil 75w90.

Gearbox 3.5-3.6 and the diff is 0.9-1.1

Got about one into my diff and a bit started to come out to 1 litre is plenty. Put 3.5 in the gearbox. Dave in STI told me the measurements.

If your getting the oil I would recommend camskill.co.uk,5 litre mobil 1 and 5 x 1 litre of the motul gear oil was 130 notes delivered to the door

Perfect thanks a mill for that , I take it the gear oil does both the gearbox and the dif!
Again thanks for the info , I'm off next week so going to drop all fluids

Yep its does the both of em grand,

Use that site, great value.

You will need the end of a rachet to open the diff but should be all good and its a 21mm socket on the gearbox if my memory serves me correct
