After 6 months searching finally picked up this baby (monster)

Went to see a few of these over the past few months and none were as clean as stated and with some parts missing in their service history.

Out of luck I mentioned it to my friend and a few days later I am the owner of this







Its an 07 535d m sport LCI fully loaded with goodies, 149k miles full joe duffy and independent specialist service history. Its remapped to about 340bhp and 650ftlb's while still returning 30mpg around town and over 50mpg on motorways which still boggles my mind for that sort of power.

The car feels brand new, not a single noise anywhere. The comfort is unreal and the power delivery it just awesome. I have never experienced such effortless power. Having previously owned a 01 impreza sti jdm which I thought was an absolute rocket but this is a completely different level.

I am over the moon with it and on the plus side its still taxed until September which is nice.

My plan for this is to keep it the way it is and just maintain it to the highest level as I dont see anything I dislike or can improve on.

Feedback is very welcome but I cant stop looking at it :banana: :banana:
 
Gorgeous car well ware, theres some poke in them alright, parts/servicing expensive but otherwise a great car

[/quote]Yeah their the 19". Run flats were taking off the car from new as there is a space saver kit in the boot.

I have see one of them mapped by Joe power think they got 90 bhp and 100 fpt out of it
 
Class Car. Some comfort in them. Do they suffer with chain like the 520? Or these different.
 
Havent heard of any timing chain failures in these. Only problems I have come across on forums are boost pipes and fuel pumps. Seem to be over engineered from factory

I'll find out in 8k what the servicing cost is. I'll most likely service it every 10k like the last owner did just to keep her tip top.

It's a great engine, although fed by satan fuel.. :icon_grin:

Other than that.. it's ugly. :icon_twisted: But that's my opinion, which obviously shouldn't matter to you at all :thumbsup:

Im a big fan of those wheels too
wich where only available on diesel models (bit of useless information for you)
right spec too with the right power

Do you think I should get the back 3 windows tinted or leave it as it is ?

Have been looking for a genuine set of 172 spiders for over 6 months and the cheapest I've seen them go for were about 1000 sterling without tyres. Crazy money but I think they really set the car off.
 
Defo tint the back 3 windows- looks great, I sold the genuine spiders off my 520d before I traded it in and got €1,000 cash and a set of MV2's too! Service costs will break your heart, nothing is cheap, no timing chain issues in the 535d which is a godsend. Could never justify tax on pre 08 but would love one at some stage. Was my favourite car yet, period

lovely motor.. brother in law has a 530d so Id say the 535 is great car. thats mad torque from it
