AC Clutch not engaging

Have an issue with the AC clutch not engaging atm. Turns by hand but a few hammer taps doesn't help engage it. Saw on YouTube that you can take the clutch off and remove a shim or too to bring the magnetic plate closer but today noticed that the clutch doesn't have the holes to put in a clutch removal tool. Any tips on getting this off and on again without the tool?

Have previously had the gas drained and filled professionally and they said there seems to be no issue there with leaks so guessing it has to be the clutch.

If there power going to clutch ?
It won’t engage if the pressure in the system is too low or relay or fuse is gone , they rarely give trouble so put 12volts to the connector of the clutch direct from the battery see does it engage

Also check the bearing on the tensioner pully bellow the plastic ones seem to go fairly often
You should be able to check the pressure on the low side with a gauge

I'll check the pulley today as well if I get a chance. Don't have a guage so will cross that bridge if everything else seems ok.
