99 classic miss

Have a 99 classic was missing got code 22 changed knock sensor still missing wont rev past 4000 and erratic idling sometimes stalling no fault code any ideas

have you tried clearing the fault to see if it comes up as code 22 again

Had battery disconected for 2 days would that not reset the ecu

is it the right knock sennsor
they vary
and is it torqued right

Got one off another classic looks same torqued ok would it still be gone if no code shows up

If you've erratic idle, then you may also have a maf problem? Check for a code 23 also.. The car is protecting itself by not revving above 4,000
