6 speed??

I've had 3 sti's standard v4 and v5 and tuned v5 with 6 speed. All averaged 22-28mpg always around high 300-low 400kms per tank.
To get 600km on 3/4 tank it was either all down hill or you forgot to reset the trip meter.

Forgot to set trip meter, has to be, or an extra 40 litre fuel tank in the boot!!!!
@dave, Ya wouldnt get that mileage driving through switzerland!!!!
 
I couldn't believe it either lads but I must be a bigger granny driver than I thought. I filled up on Thurs night and I've done 90km and the needle has barely moved. When I'm filling again I'll work out the mpg. Best I got in the DC5 was 28mpg. The DC5 was at about 3900rpm in 6th at 120kmph. It is doable. I remember Baz saying he got 550km in his wagon on a road trip.

550 k was the most I got but all motorway, around town is a different story 350-420 km

That's normal, if you fill to the neck about a 5th of the tank is above the full mark.

Just in case I was calculating wrong, I double checked the trip computer was reset on the last fill so I'll let ye know how things go.

Diesel is overrated anyway. I consistently racked up 700 miles to a tank in my old 1.8 Mazda 626.
 
They did tell you what the small pedal on the right does when you were learning to drive :)

That's some milage I was only getting 330miles at best ever if I was really nice to it and that was in a uk turbo with the long fifth gear
 
260km so far and not even half way yet. Was even a but more generous with the loud pedal today!
