Brave man. What is parcel shelf and the rear strut towers like?
You can buy new quarter panels off DL Motorsports in the UK but they ain't cheap.
The parcel shelf is good and all around the boot and around the back window. Small bit of repair on the front right sill left sill is 100%. Right rear strut tower at the top needs a wee bit of repair nothing major.

That’s a big project . You need to have a good look around the car . Remove the side skirts and see what the sills are like . Also as above check the rear screen bottom edge . Boot seal lip and rear shock towers and the boot folds .
Everything can be repaired but the costs start racking up quickly Parts alone 5-800 quid .
Labour you make ask your mate but it won’t be cheap .
Unfortunately most stardard cars as uneconomical to repair unless it’s a type r or special model that it’s worth repairing as you will have to paint them parts after being done .
at a minimum you need
2 outside arch repair panels
2 inside arch repair panles
I’m guessing 2 outer sills .
Have you had it on a lift yet to see the full extent of the rust on the floor pan
.
As I mentioned its mainly very good just for the rear arches. The underside is perfect as well as the front. I have the bumper and both radiators out as they need replacing can't trust them. Also I am doing the timing belt kit so all that out of the way is a help. Classic car parts.ie in athlone has repair panels for the rear at €70 each so getting there.

All I can say is thank christ the rust I have isn't as bad as that!

It looks in bad shape alright, you might be able to get a good car you can break, check in the UK for any fellas that specialise in it (if you can't get the right advice here - which I highly doubt will happen), or go down the custom route and get it done from scratch.
Ah I thought it would have been worse when I got it home and stripped it down but its ok. Wish there was no rust at all but we shall get it sorted 👍🏻

Bob slevin in Athlone, had gc8 repair panels, and Ali burrows also had,
Worth a try, both had sills and quarter repair panels 👍

If it’s just the arches then you won’t be too bad . But there always more rust and welding that you see before cutting but best of luck 👍
Think Bob has a good bit of stock at the moment 👍👍

Welcome and best of luck with repair. As said above by scoobysub, there is ALWAYS more to it that seems at first. I just put 120 hrs into a Capri that was in for inner and outer sills drivers side , outer sills passenger side, bare metal strip down , repairs here and there and a "new " wing that didn't fit at all. Had to cut out front portion and back portion and stitch them onto original wing. Another fella has probably about 40/ 50 hours in it too. It's not in primer yet. Kept finding more rust as car was being sanded...
Hopefully you don't have that happen.
Best of luck with the project 🙂
