2009 member come back

Welcome back man, nice oul project to get, should be fun too. Look forward to the updates 😀

Taxed or insured since 2017 and has not ran not even started since 2019. A couple of days of looking poking and cutting out all aftermarket stuff and repairing all the original wiring and found the starting and no dash lights was a main fuse in engine bay fuse box. But I cannot find out for love or money what shape size or colour goes into it. Its 39 in the pic.

I was doing a bit of research this morning and its called an inline fuse and its 1.25. It looks like its a black in colour and its an 80amp fuse. Can anyone confirm i am right?

All I can say is thank christ the rust I have isn't as bad as that!

It looks in bad shape alright, you might be able to get a good car you can break, check in the UK for any fellas that specialise in it (if you can't get the right advice here - which I highly doubt will happen), or go down the custom route and get it done from scratch.

Brave man. What is parcel shelf and the rear strut towers like?
You can buy new quarter panels off DL Motorsports in the UK but they ain't cheap.

That’s a big project . You need to have a good look around the car . Remove the side skirts and see what the sills are like . Also as above check the rear screen bottom edge . Boot seal lip and rear shock towers and the boot folds .
Everything can be repaired but the costs start racking up quickly Parts alone 5-800 quid .
Labour you make ask your mate but it won’t be cheap .
Unfortunately most stardard cars as uneconomical to repair unless it’s a type r or special model that it’s worth repairing as you will have to paint them parts after being done .
at a minimum you need
2 outside arch repair panels
2 inside arch repair panles
I’m guessing 2 outer sills .
Have you had it on a lift yet to see the full extent of the rust on the floor pan
.
