personal importation of cars into australia is not allowed. you can bring a car in temporarily i.e. for re-export back to home country if your only there for a while (2 years).

if you want to get a car in otherwise it has to be brought in by a REVS agent who will refit the car for australian road use. it is probably dooable for chris to export his car, but with agents fees, the cost of conversion to australian standard and the VRT that is built into the price of this car it would probably pay to sell it and buy another STI in australia.

sweet car man sorry that you have to sell, when i see a car like this for sale it makes me want to sell the b4 so i can see what all you impreza drivers keep harping on about :icon_nana:. there are very few cars that could tempt me away from my beloved b4 and this is deffo one of them.
so if anyone is looking to buy a b4 gimme a shout so i can find a new home for chris's car..... :icon_blahblah:.....no harm in askin
