Holy sh*t

Never heard of an "electric super charger"

And Type R sticker off of a Honda too :icon_biggrin:

I had one in my 83 Scirocco.. pushing only up to 0.4 bar and it was taking a lot of engine power to give away later.. :icon_hang:

This guy obviously never heard of a little thing called aerodynamics.

On a different note electric turbos or E Turbos are very real and are being tested by the VAG group. The idea is that a small electrically operated turbo would get the turbo up and going before the exhaust gases generate sufficient boost of their own accord to take over from there, thereby eliminating turbo lag completely and boosting the amount of torque and increasing its availability across the rpm range. The problem with the systems being tried so far are longevity, heat dissipation and sounding like hair dryers.
