01 Black Subaru Impreza Bugeye sti jdm (sold to first viewer)

A day at autosport and I look forward to what you'll come up with .....

i would go 318is with factory mtec 2 kit as opposed to 325i sport if you are contemplating it.
the 325's are nose heavy and not half as nice to drive.
you have the nice 6 cylinder noise and a bit of extra torque, but looks and speed wise there is very little in it.
318is is a far nicer car to drive and lighter on tax and juice and cheaper to buy.
nice red, lowered and 15"bbs's.
that will be my next purchase if i ever have money again.

due to age an most of them being UK imports most of them are rusty behind the kit, you might be better off by a mint 318is without the kit and fit the mtec 2 kit to it.

that would be for an everyday car but if you just want to dog the bollox out of it buy a clean bog standard 316/318/320 coupe and fire in e36 m3 engine, bit of cutting involved but easily doable

Colm don't buy yourself a money pit.

When I bought my 750 I was delighted, always wanted an e38, but seriously when you buy a car like that its constant money, I mean constant.

If you're buying something to be a daily driver get something that is turn key ready. Don't be giving yourself headache from the get go.

the e30's are bullet proof in fairness, rust is the biggest issue.
i had a couple back the years, 318is,325is,m3 they were all dogged and never gave an ounce of trouble.
Modern BMW's are expensive to run, i had an E46 M3 super expensive for parts. but the old yokes are relatively cheap.

Talk to my mate dave colm he's had 2 of em a 318 and 325 he will tell ya all you need to know

i used to be a big fan of the 17" Alpinas but they are a nightmare to live with if you do not have decent roads and depending on wheel offset can rub on the back. i'd be all out 15" BBS's. i have never seen 16"s on 1 say they would be nice

i like the one with the alpinas but id rather buy a subaru
i may still buy a hawk
know in the next week id say

i love the beemers but if your jumping out of a subaru into a 325 you will be dissappointed with the power. unless you are big into donuts or drifting around roundabouts buy an sti.

Or a WRX[emoji318] [emoji318] [emoji318] [emoji318] [emoji318] [emoji318] [emoji318] [emoji14]

Are they not god awful slow yokes though...? :dontknow: I drove one many years ago and hated it.... heavy, slow and soft as shite.

I was looking at 325 sports a few months ago very very hard to find a clean one rust on most of them so I gave up and got the track car instead
