Looks good Dec the battery is nice and snug but prob the best place for it from a safety point of view, not that safety is my top concern but no harm to approach the subject every now and than[emoji1]

So I was at the club dyno day yesterday and I can confirm that a free flowing exhaust system has benefits ???? tge ka made 126.6 bhp and 112lb/ft torque so a definite improvement over its 119 the last time it was on tge dyno I'm happy with that now to finish it before baz's trackday ????

So... After some pondering and thinking and a spin in Adrian Dunne saxo at the last trackday I decided the corsa electric steering column was not for me. so today David Nolan and I got at it and removed it all. I have now decided to run a non power steering rack instead but I was left with a dilemma as I had cut all the original column out including brackets to fit the corsa steering. I came across a transit custom steering column and I decided to fab that into and it worked a treat ya would swear it was for a ka ???? most of the work done but no steering wheel hence the vice grip ????

The ka original column was far too high

my first play with cad software to design a replacement shock turret for the ka these will be welded in place of the original shock turrets. to in conjunction with mazda rx-7 camber mounts allow caster adjustment and camber adjustment on the front struts ,my plan is to be able to achieve -1 degrees to -8 degrees caster and -6 degrees to -1 degrees camber .sounds great in theory doesn't it :)

The main reason I'm doing it is for setup. I should be able to dial in a really competitive setup and make the car corner way faster than a ka should be able to. Which in turn will reduce lap times
