Being a rare model I didnt want to clock up huge mileage and the short ratio box made it a bit of a nightmare on the motorway.

Aye, that makes sense, 6g is great for highway, but even with 5g on my wrx, I was able to do 7.6l/100km on combined. That was 3x trips citycentre and back and then about 200km long stretch on highways.

So unless youd be pushing it, that sti will be good for you on highway, in means of turbocharged petrol...

at a gues you where using scrapatalk
the donedeal thread is a sticky so if it's not in the unread section of scrapatalk you have to go to general car chat and then sticky threads in there iirc
