New cable conversion quick shifter I should be getting next week.
Should help grabbing the gears quicker[emoji106]

Im no painter Adrian
but should the panels not have been sanded before primer
so that the primer sticks to the paint correctlly
looks like you just sprayed on to the panels without sanding :dontknow:

They are sanded Colm, they don't need to go back to metal just a good surface for the primer to grip.
They look clean because we had just wiped them with panel wipe before priming the spots that were filled.
I'm no expert but Paul is a long time in the game and had a few cars featured on Max Power mag when it was around[emoji1]

Because they are already painted colm they just need to be flatted down for the primer to stick. Panels don't need to go back to the steel

i fit one of these to a 306 a few years ago, great positive feel from it, but i found the return spring was to heavy and made it a bit uncomfortable.

Would it better than the satchshift setup?

Paint job finished today delighted with the results considering it was done in a garage.
Can't wait to get it back together now for its new livery[emoji1]

Another little step closer to phase 1 front end completion.
I'll need some mesh for the grill and need to straighten some lines, but it's getting more retro for future classics racing this year[emoji5]

Got the Saxo home this evening and fitted the front bumper to see how she looks.

I really was hating the thought of changing to phase 1 just to meet future classics criteria, but I'm more than happy with the result.
I got lucky with a nice grill and headlights I think they make the difference[emoji106]

I'll have to fit the arches back on tomorrow evening and few other small bits to tighten up the front, but I'm well on target time wise[emoji106]
