Youtube quicker

Just wondering for you Youtube users,Do you notice it being any quicker to stream/download clips? Should have been noticeably faster from today

Just tried it there, and yes it is a lot faster!

all popular Youtube traffic is now cached locally in Ireland instead of coming from UK or mainland Europe, I spent last two weeks deploying a load of Youtube servers to handle all this, myself and one of the lads i work with, this is the first time though any of the Youtube stuff i have worked on, i have seen the direct impact it makes to user traffic. happy days! It will be quicker again in the coming weeks! The amount of storage space youtube eats up is unbelievable, hence the constant need for expansion, interesting stuff to work on too.

Non google related...well sort of...but great update to flash 10.2 - makes youtube videos much better to watch on android phones

i know! and we're paying €30 per month for that!! 2mb is €45.

I'm afraid I can only dream about figures like that...........
