Wanted: forged ej207 ie 2.1 etc

Probably a long shot I know

But basically I'm looking for a low mileage forged engine for a 02 bug sti. Not interested in 2.5

Or I can settle for a fresh stock rebuild ej207

Would like to hear running

Will pay for right engine
 
Melted piston caused by detonation.

Ringland wasnt an issue that model.

I would advise rebuild your own as cheapest option. as your crankshaft should/would be ok. Could add forged pistons and rods if needed.

Change fuel regulator and flow test injectors to eliminate that as cause.

And double check if vaccum popped off or was cracked.

This all related to finding cause and preventing again

Do you have any heads from a 04-05 sti by any chance?
 
Ali Burrows has two ads up in the parts for sale section. Engine from a 2004 sti and a block from a 2009 jap sti.
