vw carburettor

Bit of a long shot but does anybody know where I can get a pierburg 2e2 carburettor
Fitment for a VW Scirocco GTII or Mk1 Golf Gti
Have tried all the usual places for 1 :dontknow:
 
yeah I was thinking the same Keith but wasnt sure if they still pissed about with the old stuff
And i wouldnt say theyd be cheap
im not looking for th elabour to be done just the carb as my own automatic choke is fubarbed
I could go the twin webber route but trying to keep it original

Dropped in to Mc namaras there today
so will see what the story is :thumb:

Some cool quirky cars there always a nice selection of petrold head cars
 
Is the son running it now colm
I'd say the dad is long gone at this stage
Have they still got the old rolling road there
 
The Dad was there yesterday didn't see the son
but think he is running it
didn't see a rolling road but might still be there
the place was completely packed with cars
