Under Bonnet Cleaning

thanks ritchie........but im after a bit of a better job then can be got with a power hose.my engine bay looks clean when you open the bonnet but from my experiece with takin parts of the engine out and cleaning them its not your typical dirt, its the type of dirt/oxidisation that only a bench polisher could buff out or a drill and wire brush. its easy to clean the parts of the engine bay you can see like the panels and the rad top but im after the crap that a power hose wont get to. also by cleaning any componants i can take out like the hoses and solinoids i hope to keep it runnin as smooth as it can.
ive allready removed oily gunk from 2 of the rubber hoses goin from the intercooler to the solinoid box so the solinoids are probably clogged up aswell.

Take out the solenoids and clean them with some electrical contact cleaner . I regularly do the MAF as well. Keeps everything right..
