Just ring the owner and he will describe the car to you honestly. He did to me anyway. It needs to be painted according to him and a general tidy up.

These yokes are getting scarcer by the day and a good one will be costing 8000 to 10,000.

I wouldn't shoot any car down for " having paint" if it's done to a high standard, it's not a problem IMO.

now if the paint was flung onto the car, or a botched repair that's different. Was looking at a Escort cosies today, this thing was the business, Ap brakes all round, stack dash, the lot, was painted id say at least twice, but was a cracking job, ya wouldn't seen change of 30k for this yoke and it was painted!
