Just back after a few Bob spent and it looks mint!
New exhaust, fresh rocker cover paint, engine bay refresh and running 110%.
No rot or rust at all, underneath according to body shop (which I knew anyway)

Im no photographer as we all know!!
Only few I took of it.

Savage Graham , even though they are a rival to a Subaru, they are great cars , mate had a yellow 5 , memories from that car , 4 up beers in the back seat at 200k plus in comfort

Yeah Baz from one man to another who likes to test the limits of adhesion…
You I’m sure know how capable they are out of the box!

only ever driven the 5/6 in real anger but they are fantastic on the back roads.
It’s effortless, I feel to drive them quickly compared to an Impreza.

of all the school rally machines going back the years and I’d to try keep a lad alive who wanted to drive fast with no experience…. I’d put him in a 5 or 6.

just not the same feel from them compared to the Impreza.

hard to explain over the forum but I’m sure you get it.

I’m just glad my 74 old father in law still keeps one alive and going well.
And drives it on daily!

the petrol head is now a dirty word in these times!

Love seeing great cars being revived well in Grahamo
Not sure what’s going on to be honest with the wife’s old man but he dropped down his pride and joy, of over 30 years when collecting the 6.
Gone for paint too and whatever else needed!

at this rate it will be a proper 90’s mag feature before winter!!
