Is it just me or does anybody else find the steering wheel huge on a classic impreza Sti?
Compared to everything else ive driven it seems huge. :shock:
How easy is it to fit an after market one?
 
I've been meaning to ask whats involved in fitting a new age steering wheel to a classic because mine is looking every bit its 10 years old.

Its very easy to change to an aftermarket wheel as long as you get a hub to suit yous car
 
I love the one in my classic... One of the nicest wheels i've used.

Find it the perfect size. Luckily it's in immaculate condition too, prob the cleanest classic one in the country I'd say. It's ridiculous... On the car when I got it too.. ha ha ha.. Happy days..

non airbag ones were grand.. lot skinnyer..

i have seen new age sti8 steering wheel fitted from lad in uk...
 
Ive been driving a ford transit connect the last few years and find its fairly small wheel perfect to get a proper hold of, same size as in the focus etc.
Vans actually giving me trouble, wont start. Changed glow plugs and an injector to cure a missfire problem but starting problem still there.
Anyhow, this means ive no money for a steering wheel mod just yet.
Ill have a look at my options while i save up.

Yeah it would be much better suited to me with a smaller wheel
Ill get round to it at some stage when ive fixed everything else
