This is my brothers car,he only has it about 3months,but bought it instead of a 530d,and is now wanting to change,dont know why,i would buy it if i had the mula,its quick and looks like noting on the roads of dublin,so any questions relay the back to me,its an rb25 turbo all to the rear.he is looking for 11,500 cash,it will be vrt'd and 3 mths tax,4 new tyres have gone on her.this is a bit of history and spec on it.


The Nissan Stagea Turbo is one of the most interesting large capacity 5 seater cars available - which was only built for the Japanese domestic market officially. For this model a 5 speed manual 2.5 turbo option wasn't manufactured by Nissan - Only the specially modified Autech 2.6 models with GT-R full running gear were equipped with a manual box - and those rare examples command very high premiums - at over over double the asking price of this example.
The previous owner of this car clearly wanted a manual that would also give RWD handling, so he had the car professionally converted to manual 2WD + much more! For the sports driver who wants reliable high capacity load carrying capability, excellent handling, RB25 turbo performance and reliability - this is a unique opportunity. You won't find another manual Stagea, yet alone a better condition example.

Performance & Handling Modifications: Stagea club members in UK, Australia and other countries who have researched the possibility of doing such a conversion themselves will know this is a prohibitively costly and time consuming job to do properly. A Skyline GTS-t gearbox, pedal & controls must be sourced and part of the transmission tunnel & bulkhead modified to fit, handbrake mechanism modified and it's position moved, new central console and all trim parts, etc. fitted. Sourcing all the necessary parts wouldn't have been easy. We estimate this conversion would have cost at least 40 hours in professional labour, plus parts - amounting to around £3,500 worth of work - As you'll see from the pictures and writeup, it's all been done to the highest standards. Engine is of course the 2WD GTSt's 2.5 litre turbo 24 valve 6 cylinder RB25 engine. In addition, performance modifications have been added as follows: High capacity Greddy front mount intercooler, Greddy Hard pipe kit to intake plenum, HKS Direct Drive induction kit, Blitz Realize TT cat-back exhaust system. Suspension is Tein Super Street, allowing height as well as damping adjustability. Note this car's been converted to RWD only. Combined with factory LSD this makes for a fun to drive wagon when opportunity arises to play with the back end.

Further performance upgrades: Note we are suppliers of all performance parts available from Japan. If you'd like to uprate performance further, we recommend fitting an induction kit, uprated ECU, 555cc injectors, boost controller and uprated fuel pump, which combined with a mild boost hike will see this car produce over 360 bhp. Cosmetic Modifications: Japanese VIP Style with a full deep bodykit comprising front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper with integrated diffuser were fitted in combination with the original rear spoiler with high level brake light. A full black respray was also completed inclusive of painting all the door shuts, etc. Note the engine bay is also black from the factory. VIP style 18" alloys have also been fitted. Note also the later model rear light clusters. All combined, as pictures show - give the car an agressively purposeful look.

Original equipment includes: RB25 24 valve turbo engine (245 bhp - but easily tunable to near 400 bhp if desired), original fitted mats, power steering, power windows, central locking, ABS, Dual SRS front airbags, climate control air conditioning, Factory UV cut glass tinted windows with privacy glass for the rear, wind deflectors, central locking, electric mirrors with retract mode, Interior comfortable seats 5 people for long journeys complete with reclinable 2 part rear seats & massive load carrying ability. Note also that roof rails are fitted, to allow easy use of a roof rack, etc.

howdy.... what year is this Stagea???? and any interest in a 97 Type R 555 V3, ??? just thinkin out loud coz I've a babby on the way ya know!! cheers Chris
 
its a 96,very low mileage on it,ill run it by my brother but think he's after a 04 530d.
