Nice to see one in the U.K. And the first s car built outside of Japan . Also the first Impreza s car with a 2.5 ( only other car was the s402 legacy) . From all the reviews it seems to lack the punch of the Japanese s cars which made that stand out over standard sti cars Jap 2.0 also had the best of both worlds . Low down punch and top end performance. .
That's all gone with the 2.5 which brings the power in much later and which is not what you want from a car in this segement , power is also a bit disappointing 340bhp but torque is huge Considering they up the boost and fitted a bigger hks turbo I though there would be a lot more .
Regarding the weight . New safety laws have cars gone this way . Seat airbags roof airbags All that stuff adds weight .
Either way with only 209 examples ever made it would be a great car to have . Would love it in the garage
