rev limiter

Hi, on my 1.5r 2007 Subaru Impreza I've a rev limiter at 7000rpm.
Is it ok to hit the limiter while in neutral parked and while driving sometimes put clutch in and hit the limiter? I'm aware it's not good for car but how bad is it really?
 
Get a louder exhaust and you will only have to rev to 4000 🤣😉
It’s not a great idea with no load on the engine . Have you checked the condition of your timing belt ? I take it you mean bouncing it off the limiter , If you can afford to blow it up and it doesn’t matter then work away . You could do it loads of times and it will be grand but it could also break
 
I know but sure u won't get the satisfying limiter sound at 4000 anyway not on my one unless I can get someone to lower the stock limiter on this car.
I see what exactly would blow up tho?
