Rear subframe Mounting point

Did the STi change back to bushings in teh subframe from 2004 onwards ?

Just I noticed on mine(2003), its solid, and no washer required on the bolts to subframe mount...

But on the Web, ive seen ON 2004+ that they now use a washer, suggesting gone back to rubber bushes, or was it required to use a washer?

Just surious as when I was reassembling mine, I actually though it should have had a washer until I went back through photos and realized it never had them...

2 photos attached (s203 - no washer / s204 - washer fitted)

Not really sure Enda would have to check really I would have guessed they were the same but from the photos then no

Whatever was on yours leave it that way , the washers are used because the shoulder on the bolt is not wide enough to get a good grip on the bush as there is adjustment in the subframe , but some sub frames are solid mounted and I dont think these have the washers , I could be wrong though.

you could try Ali Burrows for that question
