Project car

So another crazy idea of mine the last year or two, to get a project car of some kind, ill probably be getting my own house in the next year or two so will have some space to give home to a second car so Im thinking of a few options. I was thinking of an old mustang but the whole LHD drive thing would get annoying im sure. Which lead me onto looking at old jap classic cars. The main ones that caught my eye was an old school skyline GTR's







My main thoughts are

VRT/import costs on a classic
tax
insurance
Source for parts needed etc

If i could get one like picture above that would be great but probably big money like that! I might as well do something like this beforei get settled again and need to focus my money elsewhere!

do it dan it will be class heres one on jdm auction watch 1974 skyline ,tax would be vintage so only 50-100- euro not sure on price

Does old skylines are getting mental money.. Vrt and tax won't be a problem as it will be vintage. I'd say that nice skyline with the blister arches in pic 1 or 2 would set you back 20k

As ken said those early skylines are maaaaaaaaad money... They are so sought after in Japan that they rarely even come up at auction

yeah there is some for about 14-15 grand in Japan. Biko works be a good place to help you choose

You could always buy thinking ahead to the future... A clean example of a 32gtr is probably a good investment.. You can just skip the gtr33... That's never going to be classed the same, IMO it will jump from 32 to 34 and the 33 will never be as collectable.
