Mark Cahill Full ISDC Members 2015Member Number 555 Aug 1, 2009 #24 Sand back the letters to metal if you can. You might need to get a brushable white though. Tip for you!! If you'd put a bit of vaseline on the letters beforehand it would have wiped off leaving the bare metal, no paints reacting then.
