Sunday Drivers
Hey All,

I have a belt at the front of my bh5 00 legacy that split. Would anybody please advise me what the name of the belt is , and where best place to get belt ? And maybe if I need to change both belts at the front. Thanks for reading.

Kind regards
Nooby Subaru owner Peter

Hi - i find this is great for getting part numbers (just select model and detail)

I'd replace all the belts while doing that one, should be fairly inexpensive, most motor factors will also be able to source the belts

Hi @legacy03, thank you. That is a great website, Not even sure what version my legacy is. Think its a BH5 or BE5.

I have done some searching today and looks like there are two belts there and apparently the same belt. This is the code for the belts "73013aa001"

The length of them varies slightly from 880mm-900mm. Genuine Subaru belts are 100 euros a belt and I can find them online for like 5-10€. sheeesh.

Your local motor factors will be able to get both alternator and ac belts and probably have them in stock..

Hey @JOHNNY T thanks I called auto factors and collecting them tomorrow. He said they are nearly identical, one belt is 885mm and the other is 880mm. € 25 euro for the pair. How bad 😄
