New Legacy BL5 Blitzen Owner

Hi All,

I recently bought a 2005 Legacy BL5 Blitzen.
The car has covered 170000Kms and was very well maintained by it's previous owner.
I'm a big fan of the red/black interior which is in near new condition.

So far I've;
- Removed black wrap from the bonnet scoop & door handles :facepalm:
- Removed front window tints.
- Completed a full 2 stage paint correction.
- Ordered various parts from Subaru like the centre console lock, boot mat hook, cowel panel clips etc.
- Basically anything I could see that was missing or not 100% perfect.

Plans are to;
- Paint the bonnet scoop & mirror covers OEM red to keep it factory original.
- Ceramic coat the exterior using carpro cquartz uk 3.0 & carpro gliss.
- Ceramic coat the windows using gyeon q2 view.
- Ceramic coat the leather using gyeon q2 leather shield.
- Ceramic all black exterior trim using gtechniq c4 permanent trim restorer.
- Purchase new alloys;
- I'm thinking maybe speedline corse in gold or rays volk TE37''s in bronze.
- Wheel suggestions and wheel size/spec advice would be greatly appreciated.
- I'll be keeping the Blitzen wheels if I ever want to change back or sell the car.

Gt John's old car, very nice car and well looked after, I agree with you removing some of the non standard black pieces , will look much better oem with nice new alloys,

I ran a bl5 turbo as a daily for 3 years trouble free, great car , put Rota GRA 18 inch alloys on it, 225 40 18 rubber from memory with no issues.

Sweet stuff man, looks a nice car! Agree with where your going with it, right idea I'd say. Had a BE5 Blitzen myself in the same colour, gorgeous colour in the sun when cleaned up 😀

Thanks, it looks well in the sun after the paint correction to be fair.
 
Welcome along 👍👍 very nice legacy . They are becoming popular again after disappearing for a good few years .👍👍👍
Not to many red Blisten around 👍👍enjoy it
