NCT Query

Quick one lads,

the girlfriends car is in for its NCT on Thursday coming, its tax is not up to date, out at the end of march. Is it you cant get an NCT without tax or cant get tax without an NCT???

I know you can tax a car without NCT, but dunno if you can get an nct if there's no tax

Just found this on http://www.ncts.ie/faq.html

"Owners of cars that have been off the road or have not been taxed for over 3 months it will be necessary for the owner of the vehicle to contact NCTS directly themselves."

I'd guess then if its not out over 3 months you'll be grand

Nice one man, No bother at all.

I rang up a few years back about it and as far as I can remember they said you don't need insurance or tax in the window just the log book
