dont know a whole lot about octante booster whats good whats not so advice here lads please :dunno:

just need some if i get stuck and theres no e5 about.

So if u can get E5 u don't need octane boost??? Is it ok 2 put octane boost in wit E5??? :ponder:
 
It doesn't seem like you need it. My car is mapped for BP ulimate 99 octane and I run it on E5 as it's 99 octane also no problem so far.

There's no hastle mixing Lucas or NF with E5.
 
My car is mapped to run on E5 plus 100mm NF per fill which makes approx 101ron, which is roughly the same as jap spec fuel,
So it would probibly be grand in any JDM car with the origional factory ecu map,
However, I'm sure there is more to petrol than ron rating, so a remap for peice of mind and to optimise your cars potential on whatever fuel you decide to use full time,
But if not mapping, Get as close to 102ron as possible, :thumbsup:
They reckon half a bottle of Lucas gains 2ron per fill, NF is proven that 100mm boosts 35 litres (€45) petrol by 2 ron,
Alot of lads on here use lucas and are very happy with it!

i use lucas (1/2 bottle per fill) with E5
car runs well on it
once i ran it on 95 ron (for about 20min) and no boost to see what would happen - didnt like it at all.
lucas defo works in jap imports - i have a b4
