Lookin to put ipod in the car

This is from the manual for your head unit

Switching the auxiliary setting
It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with
this unit. Activate the auxiliary setting when
using external equipment connected to this
unit.
1 Press FUNCTION to select AUX.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until AUX appears
in the display.
2 Select AUX on or off with 5/∞.
Pressing 5/∞ will switch AUX between on and
off and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
AUX :ON).

Heres the manual for it

Pressing function repeatedly doesnt select aux! But now the ipod is playing but so is the radio!!!! If i use the volume its the radio that gets louder-not the ipod :wall: :wall: :wall:

I think your best bet is to register on a forum like mp3car.com and tell them your problem and im sure someone will sort it out

Thanks for all the help kanye-eventually worked out-what the manual doesnt say is that the unit has to be off and when you initially press function you have to hold it down. Bit disappointed though-wont go any louder than the ipod's volume range-exhaust almost drowns it out :icon_sad:

Try this
Turn the unit off,
hold down the function or source button for a few seconds, a menu will appear, tell it Aux = On, then after that turn your unit back on, the headunit will now have aux mode when you select it from the source button

This one says turn it off and hold function  Ya they could be louder but mines loud enough.
