Anyone give this a go at all?
Performance Car magazine did a review and PocketDyno came out best (and it's free now)
Pocketdyno+ costs extra.

I've fired it onto the phone (jailbroken :icon_twisted:) and I'll report back later with results.

Will be run on a private road, of course.

Looks like a great add on for the iphone alright.
Let us know how you get on

Had a play with this earlier today. This was the best of 3 runs. Was wet so plenty of wheelspin :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

Didn't quiet make the 1/4 mile. I slowed a bit and the phone detected this.
Also, not sure I have it configure 100%. You need to enter your car weight which is very important to good results....or so the manual says. pocketdyno.com/manuals/en/PocketDyno_v2.0.0.pdf

All vehicles lose a certain amount of power in the drive train. The amount varies
from vehicle-to-vehicle, depending on the transmission type and efficiency.
PocketDyno does not account for this loss and instead reports wheel horsepower
(whp). This is different than the number specified by the manufacturer. To
correct for this you can take the whp value and divide it by (1-Drivetrain Loss%).
For example if a vehicle has 200whp and the drive train loss is 20% you take 200
/ (1-0.20) to get an estimated crank hp of 250.

Fun little app. Worth checking out

Hehe....doubt it very much. I need to re-calibarate it and make sure I've the stats for the car entered correctly.
Will give it another go during the week.
