Insurance renewal

Just got my renewal in the post from my broker. It's a reasonable enough quote at €546 fully comp but it's from a company I have not heard of, Patrona Underwriting. Has anyone had any dealings with these or know anything about them? Their webpage says they are. "Irelands newest and most dynamic underwriting agency" but doesn't give much else away.

Make sure u check ur excess rate, seen some companies with 3000e and above...

Partnered with Axa & RSA according to their website - As Johnny says establish who the ultimate insurer is as Patrona are only an intermediary by the looks of it.

Compare benefits of their offered policy with the competition too & make sure you're getting same cover as previous years.

I have insurance with them on a van since setanta packed up. All I know is the disc is made of paper and the premium was cheap

I have been with patrona the last two years on the scooby under my broker who is aaron insurance.
