Ignition Barrels Cross Compatibility? B4 Legacy - Impreza - Forester

Hey Guys,
My 2002 Legacy B4 was broken into yesterday . They didn't take anything - but the ****ers destroyed my ignition barrel trying to start it. Like everything for a jap import its looking tricky enough to get a barrel specifically for the Legacy - however - does anyone know if Impreza or Forester barrels are the same and could be used?

I have a few new Impreza ignition barrels and keys there but not sure if the harness is the same that plugs into the loom

talk to ross there as he knows what hes looking at

I'm in work at the minuet and don't have a picture, but the small metal shaft with the spring mechanism that runs inline with the key, has been snapped off at the inside end. I will send pictures when I get home, might try and get off early to get this sorted.

That?s a dose should possibly get your self a steering lock big and bright just to deter them if you haven?t got one already hopefully you get sorted

There is guy on donedeal braking white 2001 b4 from offaly (maybe its not too far from you). I got few parts from him. He was very sound. Check him out maybe he would do you a deal and maybe post the part for you if he has it.
I could give his number if u cant find it.

on pic 3 the cast/peuter centre looks sheared in which case doubtful its a fix and more of a replacement job i reckon . saras option might be best
