Hi folks, so slight issue. Bare with me
Idling high, cold 1200rpm and at warm 1800rpm. No lights on dash. Obd scanner not working but I found this, possible solution but I’m not sure whether or not if it’s the cause. (See pics) piping seems to be missing

If it’s the same as Toyota it’s a flow & return for the wax stat in the throttle body.

Both are missing obviously and there is a loop of piping as replacement.

Yes, from experience with other models this would exactly cause your issue.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll get some silicone hosing for it in the morning. Hopefully fix the cause

Might be unrelated but , you replaced battery Dave, did you have battery out of the car for a while before putting in the new one,

Also, get a new Idle Air Valve Control-iacv rubber gasket, then and only then open up the iacv to clean it - cotton bud with parts cleaner does the trick usually. Sometimes it clogs up and the rubber gasket fails after heat cycles. The rubber gasket is only a few euros and handy to swap a new one. Be very careful when opening the screws as they are easily stripped. Use a long Phillips head screwdriver and apply a lot of downward force before unscrewing it.

Part number: 22659AA120. Dave @Rsr always has them in stock if needed.

Message me if you need any further info as that was the cause of my high idle 👍
