Fair play..One good thing about the IT industry is it's a great leveller..experience always counts but if you can apply yourself and show aptitude for problem solving you'll get rewarded.
I've seen many a graduate with computer science degrees come and go, In my experience guys who have been in the work force and return to education always do well...they are motivated and understand what it is like to provide a service.
For any of the lads thinking of going back to education, I would actively encourage it...no matter what field it is in..don't ever be discouraged thinking your up against "whizz kids".
