Fumes inside the car

Since being at the lakes and goin to limerick yesterday im getting fumes in the car after a half hour or so of driving..
It comes and goes but it seems to be coming through the vents..
Just read online it could be to do with the carbon canister or a cabin filter..
Anyone got any ideas where I should start looking?

Might be rocker cover gasket leaking down onto the manifold driver side

Is there any tell tale signs of the gasket failing or would I need a mechanic to have a look at it?

Have a good look down the block Johnny turbo side will see it if weaping onto turbo.

If car cold stick your hand down will feel oil on outside of block

Worth checking rad not leaking too (top and bottom pipes too) sometimes might be coolent burning off but that's more of a sweet smell opposed to oily smell from above

Good Few years ago id a bad gasket between center section on exhaust was blowing and slowly poisoning me in traffic would give u a headache too
