Fuel tank compatibility?

As above lads, would Impreza GC fuel tank fit Legacy BC?
Not much online besides this from a random forum

Yea 99% sure that early inpreza tank will work
There are a few differences in the later tank around the evap system and loom but I think a later tank could still work too
 
Did I see a legacy for parts on DD recently maybe...not sure now, I can't find it, but fairly sure I did see it.
There's also a guy somewhere, advertises Impreza and Legacy parts on DD, remember I got onto him back around 2018 on so when I had my Legacy and he said he only had the older ones.. not sure if he said it was BG or BC, but worth checking if he still has them đź‘Ś
