Electric Window Unit

Yesterday my right front window decided it didn't want to go down. All other Windows go down fine with ease. Does anyone have another one of these units? I don't want to have to replace motor when it could be the switch itself. I've already taken it out and checked the wires and all seem fine.

Swap it with a differant switch to rule out the Switch

Switches are encased in a big box unit. Would it contain springs?

Yes and when you open it they go everywhere so you swap the plug from the drivers window to another switch

Most likely motor as I can hear nothing when the button goes down. Switch clicks fine otherwise.

I check you have 12v at the plug and motor if so then it looks like a shot motor But could still be a loose wire doen at the motor so take the door cars off and have a look

You mean the motor or the electric circuit under the switches themselves Dave?

How much are they each? I have a big feeling it's the motor itself.

I would be thinking same yes. Unless window left open and switches etc got soaked.

€70 delivered for perfect motor.

Switches are fine and operate the other Windows fine. Water didn't get in at all.
