Ladies and gentlemen, might be a stupid question but if a car was mapped with a Prodrive sports cat fitted and decatted second pipe does it need to be remapped if the sports cat was replaced with decatted downpipe? No engine light on dash though.
 
No experience at all in the matter, but from what I've read, boost creep and overboost can be an issue.
You should have a CEL alright tho, I'm even getting one with a sports cat, and apparently it can cause issues with the AFR if not mapped in also.
Again, no experience here. I read a lot... So only offering my 2c lol

I?ve been driving mine for 2years with a decat and not mapped yet. No issues but that?s not to say it?s safe in everyone?s case. I doubt if you?ll blow the engine - especially if you don?t hoon it maybe run some octane booster to be sure in the meantime ?
