Center Diff Finally fixed !

Nice , did you do the work yourself?
Sure did : have a spare one there I'll recondition so won't be stuck again!

Cost 51€ for oil, all internals on diff were very good condition so saved a nice chunk of cash there. Worst part was cleaning the old CST, horrible stuff to be honest

Good going , So no parts needed just the viscous fluid ?
What symptoms did it have before hand ?

Had the beginning of fairly annoying torque bind, tight turns etc causing front wheels to almost create a dragging feeling,

You can get the cap o-ring if it's bad, but mine seemed brand new so just made sure it was cleaned and then a touch of oil. Same with bearing on shaft, rotated perfectly. Will need to get new bearing for spare one though.

From what I can figure if you catch it early enough, no internals take damage, just the CST oil won't allow what needs to be turned/not turned to do its job. When I got the binding few days later I parked in the garage until had time

Just the fluid, I used 100K CST Silicon oil.
