Best place to advertise a scooby these days

Sunday Drivers
Hi all,
Im thinking of sticking my WRX in a mag or a website, and wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

Seems like carzone have merged with autotrader and become daylight robbers in the process-€1.50 a day!!!
Seems like a bargain when they break it down like that, but in reality, you could renew for free with the old carzone 'til your
car was sold, and you cannot with the new site :angry1:

Anyone know if anything is actually selling off carzone, or any other websites??

Nothing selling anywhere :shock2: :shock2:

I have always found in the past that advertsing your car localy
is a far better & cheaper option.

Any car i have sold in the past , was normaly through the "Free Adds" section on the Evening Echo
(local paper for Cork & Limerick) this might not work as well in Dublin with so much choice etc...
but after spending €€€€'s with Auto Trader, CBG website , Buy & Sell .........and then for the car to shift in a matter
of Days from the Free Adds ...........well it would make wonder ????

Niall.

It has become exspensive with carzone
but i just sold a car on it
and pait the basic 30 euro per month thing
the try and sell it to you so you pay extra to have it on auto trader aswell
dont do that as they put it on the autotader anyway
i still think you should have it up there if you want to sell it
also
www.gumtree.ie
www.octane.ie
things arent selling much these days
cars are just like houses
little demand at the moment but the right ones AT THE RIGHT PRICE still sell
you can be lucky and the right person will be looking for a car same time as yours is for sale
be prepared your car is probably worth less than you think it is
as all values have lowered somewhat
it is really a buyers market at the moment
best of luck with the sale
