average employee in Ireland earned €20.08 per hour

in 2007 i was earning about 3/4 of that but was working an average of 78hrs a week
(wages where averaged out and overtime included in above statement)

Anyone they polled was at the higher end of the pay scale..... same way they always do it to screw the rest of us a little more

Re: average employee in Ireland earned 20.08 per hour

sure throw in a couple of tribunals and those solicitors drag the average wage up in no time. 6 million one guy earned out of that.one guy never had job before the tribunal, 'worked ' for 3 years and retired!

Employees aged under 25-years with a third-level degree or higher qualification earned €17.57 per hour, compared to those with the Leaving Certificate, who earned €12.31 per hour.

I didn't even earn €12.31 an hour in 2007!!

This is bollox-An ex of mine had a chemistry degree and she earned less than i did when i drove a tipper for 14.00 an hour take home.

I'd like to see these politicians rates seeing as most are paid over €100K and get more holidays than fecking teachers. Must be high hundreds at least per hour worked in the year. And that would bring the average up ever so slightly
