Another New Noise 😅

Everytime I get in to the car my Daughter keeps saying don’t find any more new noises , that I’m panicking too much but…
Since changing out the front suspension in My99 GC8 2.0T… there’s been a noise gradually getting worse. Sounds like squeaky rubber going over bumps and breaking. I’m pretty sure it’s not coming from the suspension but I wonder is it something to do with the front anti roll bar. It was quiet a trick to get it back in.
Has anyone had a similar problem or any thoughts?

Might be the top mounts rubber donut thingy at top of shock

Ok…I put new ones in. It doesn’t seem to make a noise if you push down on the top.

Check the 3 number 12mm top mount bolts and see are they tight .

Also did the roll bar go back on the right way around and it’s possible to but it on backwards as we have as all done it at some stage

It’s more than likely an anti roll bar bush in this dry weather , if you drop both bars and put some lithium grease on the inside of the the 4 of them front to rear , that’s the quickest and easiest thing to do , if its still there investigate further ,

If it’s squeaky going over ramps/bumps can only be a few things
