Hi lads I dunno if im in the right section for this..

Well anyway consedring about a shed but i dunno to build it or to get a galvanised shed but building tje shed seem's alot cheaper looking for the size in between 20x40

Cheers Guys

You'll need planning permission for any structure over 25 square metres (270 square feet) and cant be more than 3 metres high if galvanised roof. Not saying you dont have any but just in case.

there is a loop hole in planning as regards the building of "TEMPORARY STRUCTURES" , You may be able to build a galvanised shed without planning , say for instance you have a large concrete yard all ready there , if you only sit the shed on the concrete it isnt classed as a permanent structure as opposed to digging foundations , building rising walls etc ,

Look into it more in your local authority / council

if the shed wont be visable from the road or your neighbours house's you may get away with it ,

obviously im not telling you to go ahead and build it but just giving an option to ya ,

Depends on where you plan to build it. You can build a 40 sq metre extension your house, thats about 20 x 20 feet give or take, so your shed could be an extension to the house.

On the other hand, if you are well off the beaten track and the shed is to the back of the dwelling then planning shouldn't really be a problem.
