Who would be the best mechanic to deal with a 2008 Subaru Impreza sti 2.5.
2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5 STI
New engine build (Westward Engineering)
New turbo
New Air Flow Meter
New Lambda sensor
New engine temp sensor
Timing belt has 4 variable valve pulleys

Starts fine as it gets warm begins to smoother itself and eventually cuts out

Dave at rsr automotive near to you. Ciaran Larkin in finglas, does car need run in and mapping

If Martin (Westward Engineering) build the engine etc, would you not go back to him to get it running right?
That would be my first port of call given they build your engine, are very experienced and have a good reputation.
Always better to deal with one place than several in case there are any issues and you want the convenience and comfort of dealing with one place till sorted out.

If only looking at mapping and for whatever reason do not want to follow up with your engine builder, then AP Performance in Galway gets good results for mapping Subarus.

I doubt the engine is at fault but maybe something electrical, best off to get the car to somewhere that can plug in to the ecu and check live data
